Muthuvelu Supramaniam, who also owns the business, is looking forward to sharing his passion for Malaysian cooking and reinventing special dishes for Wellingtonians.
He began having interest in cooking since young upon seeing his Amma's (mother's) excellent cooking skills. Growing up helping her cook mee goreng, and make roti canai and teh tarik for her little stall near their home, he decided to make cooking his profession.
He has more than 20 years of experience in cheffing, including 12 years in New Zealand working in established restaurants (Mango in Nelson, The Grill at Amora Hotel, Chow, Mojo and The Roxy) serving Nelson, The Grill at Amora Hotel, Chow, Mojo and The Roxy serving people to their hearts' content.
He is an expert in the production, preparation and presentation of his food. It has always been his desire to open his own restaurant and here we are! We are proud to serve good sumptuous food with healthy ingredients. The dishes are classic Malaysian food with a tinge of twist, giving you a taste of home, for sure.
